24H Vélo de Louvain-la-Neuve is the largest student folk gathering in Belgium together each year some 50,000 students in the streets of the city. There are three main types of bikes that are found at 24H:

• sports riders who are trying to achieve the highest number of laps in 24 hours,
• the "humanitarian" who ride bicycles for an association (for each beer sold, a percentage is taken and then returned to the winners in this category) and finally,
• folk bikes that are generally Bicycle "customized" that evoke the proposed team (kot-to-project, circle or regional) theme that has constructed.

Each year kot Carrefour participates and built a bike folk . Students imagine all togheter what they want to create . They are a team and gather everything they need , tools, building materials . The last days before the 24h it 's the rush , living room, hall, garden are transformed into a giant workshop,  it's the excitement ! And then comes the time of the race, they take turns to pedal and push their craft on the climbs if necessary ...
